REGISTER / WAYS TO DONATE

St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Mattawa

Our Church - The Heart of our Christian Community

Our churches are first and foremost the sacred earthly home of our Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament.  It is where we gather for Mass, where the sacraments of the Catholic Church are administered and where funeral Masses for our loved ones take place.  Churches are our sanctuaries - where love, peace and our hope in Jesus is beautifully expressed in the Liturgy of the Mass, in prayer and in song.  It is where we visit Jesus with reverence; praying with humility, repentance, and gratitude.  In living out our faith, it is where we give thanks for our priest, our church, and all those in our parish community who generously give of their time, talent and/or pastoral assistance to our parish.  However, in order to operate and maintain our buildings, we rely on your charitable donations and fundraising efforts. To this end, we are pleased to present the following information on how one may join and/or donate to St. Anne's.

Please Register With Us

Why register? Registering with a parish is not only an opportunity to make a commitment to your faith, but also to your community.  Whether you attend Mass regularly, or are returning after a period of absence, we invite you to register with us.  We hope that as a registered member, you will soon develop a sense of belonging to your parish.

How to Register / Your Contributions

To register, simply contact the office to introduce yourself by calling (705) 744-5391, or send an email to:  stannemattawa@gmail.com and provide your contact information.  Please remember that contributions to your parish are considered free-will offerings, and as such, should not cause financial hardship to you or your family.  Please note, ninety percent (90%) of the Sunday Offertory Collection remains in the parish, while ten percent (10%) is submitted on an annual basis to the Diocese of Pembroke.  Tax receipts will be issued on an annual basis for the preceding year.

Traditional Church Envelopes

Our Sunday Offertory envelopes are our primary method of collecting donations.  Once you are registered, you will be invited to take home a box of envelopes, so that you may contribute to the parish on a regular basis.  Cash or cheques are accepted.  Cheques are to be made payable to "St. Anne Parish".

Debit - Pre-Authorized Giving

Pre-authorized giving is offered at St. Anne's for the Sunday Offering only.  We accept direct deposits on a date of your choice on a monthly basis.  You will still be provided with a box of envelopes, so that you may contribute to special collections that take place throughout the year.  If you are interested in this option, please contact the office.

Private Donations / Memorial Donations

If you would like to make a private donation, or a donation in memory of a loved one, cheques may be made payable to "St. Anne Parish".  E-transfers are also accepted.  If you would like the office to notify a family of a memorial donation, please let us know.  Also, when a loved one passes away, kindly remember to consider St. Anne's when recommending expressions of sympathy.

Bequests / Legacy Giving

When a Church has been there for you and your family during the most important moments of your life, leaving a legacy in the form of a generous gift may be something you may wish to consider.  Donors have a wide range of options when it comes to tax benefits.  Please consider consulting a lawyer, financial planner or tax advisor if you are planning a charitable bequest.

Thank you for supporting the needs of your church and our parish community.

It is a grace and a joy to serve the Church.
