CEMETERY REGULATIONS

PROVINCIAL REGULATIONS

THE ONTARIO MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AND COMMERCIAL RELATIONS

1.  All business to be conducted through the Parish Office.  No internment of bodies or cremated remains shall take place without permission of Parish Administrator through the Parish Office.

 

2.  Plots to be free of all items, only topsoil and grass seed will be put down.  (No plastic wire or fences or wooden frames, no patio or crushed stones, etc. and no miniature shrubs).

 

3.  Flowers to be placed in monument stands that clip on the stone or ‘T’ hangers (maximum 2) which are driven into the ground.

 

4.  All flowers to be removed before first frost.  Caretaker has the right to remove any flowers, plastic or real, when not looking presentable.

 

5.  No person shall change the grading of the plot or erect or remove anything on or around it without the written permission of the Cemetery Committee.

 

6.  No markers, corner posts or planting (see #2 and #3 above) should be done or altered without written permission from the Cemetery Committee.

 

7.  The Cemetery Board is not responsible for loss or damage by vandals and/or malicious mischief makers, etc.

 

8.  No person shall transfer interment right to another party without written notice to the Parish Office.

 

9.  Snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles are prohibited on the Cemetery grounds.
